The Discourse Structure Analysis Of Public Emergency Report In Metropolis Newspapers

Public emergency occurred frequently during the period of social transformation in our country, in the mainstream of the development process, Metropolitan newspapers’s discursive practice of breaking report is worthy of concern. Different from external research of media, the paper use the structure of news discourse analysis which created by Van·Dick, analyzing public emergencies news from the perspective of text and context. Based on analyzing macrostructure about thematic structure of a single news, thematic structure train of continuous news, superstructure, and microstructure about words choice, local coherence, punctuation. Metropolitan newspapers exists a stable discourse structure and schema. In the social context, Metropolitan newspapers shows the discourse conflict of social main in the production process of public emergency, as well as s variety of meanings in the comprehension process.The paper analyses discourse structure prejudice of public emergency in Metropolitan newspapers combining the problem of social and cognitive, reflecting limitations in cognitive schema, bias in event attribution, solidification in main image. Further in the modern risk society, the paper proposes transformation of cognitive style, knowledge of literacy training and other optimization strategies with risk awareness, to establish discourse structure of public emergency in mainstream newspapers corresponding rational, open and discussion on type.
