Surveying and mapping instruments are widely used in the construction ofnational economy and national defense construction, in order to improve the safetyand using precision of surveying and mapping instruments, it is particularly importantto calibrate the instrument. This paper studies that using optical methods to establish aset of optical horizontal reference line standard device.The standard device canproduce a stable and reliable horizontal reference line standard which can be used asthe optical horizontal reference line of standard implementation level. The referencedevice can be achieved on the level, level with detector (hanging mirror) reliabletraceability of standard working standard quantity. The main research contents ofthis paper are as follows:1、 Briefly discusses the technology foundation of horizontal alignment, the generalclassification of leveling instrument verification device used in China at presentand some of the advantages and disadvantages of each type were introduced.2、 Introduces the classification principle of parallel light pipe. Systematicallyintroduces five parallel light tube structures and the basic principle ofseveral parallel light pipe, the using methods and their advantages anddisadvantages. Debugging process analysis and detailed theoreticalderivation of the three intermodulation method of CCD readings and thefeasibility of theory analysis of the pentagonal prism surface reflectionmethod tracing level. At the same time,introduces the basic principle ofthe photoelectric autocollimator.3、 Systematically elaborated the initial point of collimator CCD imaginecalibration by pyramid prism, analyzed the optical properties of pyramidprism and the implementation method of parallel light pipe devicecalibration of CCD imaging of the initial point with a pyramid prism.Through the analysis of experimental data shows that the method isreliable.At the same time the optical properties and manufacturing errorof prism and its impact on the calibration accuracy are analyzed.4、 The circle detection methods of several common and easy to program areproposed. Our focus is on the implementation of software of general process of level alignment reference device, the reference devicesoftware is implemented by Visual C++6.0and MATLAB R2010b byusing mixed programming method in the Windows XP operating system.The development of interface of measurement software by VC, imageprocessing algorithm written in MATLAB software.5、 Describes some factors affecting the stability of the system of highprecision measuring instrument, the error source of horizontal alignmentreference device and its control method. The quantitative analysis ofstability of the benchmark system in the short-term, medium-term andlong-term and puts forward some suggestions to raise the stability of thesystem.
