A combination of embedded wireless sensor network technology, network technology and sensor technology, widely used in many fields in recent years, military, industrial, agricultural, medical and other information to get in, is a new network. Wireless sensor network node sensing by the sensor data to the base station by a single hop or multi-hop mode, then the base station via the Internet, satellite, etc. sent to the user, to achieve real-time monitoring of the monitoring area. Data collection is the foundation of wireless sensor networks for applications such as environmental monitoring, data collection protocols, and the delay affects the life cycle of network data networks; therefore crucial to design a suitable data collection protocol for various wireless sensor networks. So far, a number of network scenarios for data collection protocol still many defects, which leaves a lot of room for our in-depth study.In this paper, the status of research data collection protocol conducted in-depth research, and in two different network scenarios designed the corresponding data collection protocols.(1) Based on existing research on the study of semi-convergence of wireless sensor networks less, some semi-converged network for data collection protocol still there are many defects; If only consider the network lifecycle has resulted in large data delay. To solve these problems, in the semi- convergence of wireless sensor networks is proposed, the shortest path tree algorithm MMLAT constructed to maximize the network life cycle. Considering the-factors MMLAT data latency and network lifetime two aspects, MMLAT simulation results show that the network can guarantee low latency under the circumstances, to maximize the network life cycle.(2) To maximize data collection ubiquitous network life cycle, a low-power network path proposed reconstruction algorithm MULAC. The algorithm takes into account the data collected from similar node has great similarity, carried out in the original data based on the adjustment of the transmission path, the design of low energy path adjustment programs, and to ensure that the path of adjustment is still able to before transmitting the data path to Sink, ensures connectivity data transmission, reducing the rate of loss of data.
