VAV air-conditioning system has the advantages of comfortable andenergy-saving, it is the mainstream choice of air conditioning system athome and abroad. VAV terminal device is the key equipment of the VAVair-conditioning system. To a great degree, operation condition of theVAV terminal system determines the VAV air-conditioning systemrunning effect. Pressure irrelevant terminal with its flexible quickadjustment methods and considerable energy saving potential, hasbecome a focus of research and application of VAV air-conditioningsystem in recent years.Pressure irrelevant terminal is a typical cascade control system.Aiming at the problems of parameter setting which is difficult and lackof adaptability in conventional cascade control method, therefore theintelligent control and embedded technology is applied in pressureirrelevant terminal control system. What’s more, a new control strategywhich is adaptive fuzzy cascade control based on particle swarmoptimization (PSO) of pressure irrelevant terminal is proposed and theVAV BOX system embedded controller is designed, it has certaintheoretical significance and practical value.The following researching tasks will be included:First of all, the paper analyzes the current development of VAV airconditioning system control technology at home and abroad, has nothingto do for VAV pressure irrelevant terminal system of Guest room, usingobject mechanism analysis method, its mathematical model isestablished.Secondly, the paper analyzes the dynamic characteristic of the VAVpressure irrelevant terminal system. Aiming at the problems existing inthe conventional cascade control, the design method of adaptive fuzzycascade control system based on particle swarm optimization isproposed. Then, the simulation by MATLAB verified the feasibility andeffectiveness of the method.Finally, according to the characteristic of VAV terminal device control, the VAV BOX system embedded controller is designed. Thedesign of hardware, we adopt the method of core board and theexpansion of base plate. Core board use S3C2440A embeddedmicroprocessor,which is produced by Samsung. The design circuits ofexpand floor include the input and output, A/D and D/A conversion,communications and LCD interface circuit. The design of software,weuse open-source Linux operating system, use arm-Linux-GCC-4.1.2cross compile tools and Qt/Embedded and Qtopia graphicaldevelopment environment,compiling and transplanting Linux OS,transplanting and compiling the related drivers, then developing theapplications of VAV air-conditioning control system.
