With the rapid development of satellite communication technology in military and civil areas, the research of equipment management and maintenance technology of satellite earth station deepens gradually. It develops from single equipment management to central management, and from parameter monitoring of single equipment to the requirements of sorting&extraction, statistics&analysis, and failure diagnose. It causes that the monitoring software of satellite earth station plays more important role in the construction of the station.Inner-station monitoring of satellite communication earth station acts as one of the key parts of satellite communication system management. It realizes polling, monitor, control and management to the equipment in satellite communication station. And the system provides operation status of equipment to operators through computer, as well as provides some help info of equipment repairing and maintenance. Main function includes parameter and status data display; topology of inner-station equipment(different colors indicates different operating status). And when some faults taking place, the color of displayed will be modified, and meanwhile, the details of faults and time data will be displayed in alarm logs. And the alarm data will be also displayed in alarm windows.Through functional analysis of earth station management software and study of current status of management software domestically and internationally, the article brings out the design of model-based monitor system of satellite communication earth station. And the design was verified and confirmed through code design, function test, on-site debugging, and many other software performance tests.The successful development of model-based management software of earth station in the article advances the developing process of other similar projects of our institute. And it saves manpower investment, reduces R&D periods, and can be extended to other software development projects.The contents of each chapter are shown below:Chapter1:introduce research background and main contents;Chapter2:introduce the function and composition of monitor system of satellite communication earth station;Chapter3:introduce monitor system architecture and software structure.Chapter4:Introduce the detailed design, implementation and some applications of the softwareChapter5:Conclusion and expectations of the research contents.
