In recent years, as countries continue to increase investment in the marinebusiness and deepen exploration of the field of undersea observation, various marineresearch institutions and management departments have established ocean observingsystems which meet their business needs. However, there are some problems inundersea observation data processing and real-time display. For instance, it cannotrealize efficient sharing and distribution, reducing the efficiency of data. There areseveral reasons causing those questions. On the one hand, there is certainindependence in the ocean observing systems. On the other hand, there are somedifferences in observing equipment of seafloor observing network in terms of datacollection, processing and communication protocols, etc. Therefore, how toimplement the real-time efficient allocation and efficient sharing of observation datais an urgent problem in the field of submarine observation today.In order to effectively deal with the observation data collected from seafloorobservatory nodes, improve the data efficiency and extensibility of the system, on thebasis of existing ocean observing system, this paper proposes a kind of advanced andscalable data integration and application architecture. Besides, it designs andimplements the information processing software for seafloor observing node. Firstly,functional requirements and performance requirements of the information processingsoftware for seafloor observing node are analyzed. Secondly, using hierarchicaldesign ideas, this paper designs the integrated solutions for the information processingsoftware for seafloor observing node and divides the main functional modules.Meanwhile, it designs the data structures and database tables in detail used in theprocedure of data exchange and storage, besides the main function modules andextensibility configuration in detail. Finally, the information processing software for seafloor observing node is realized by the use of Visual Studio2010softwaredevelopment platform and Oracle11g database, using C#4.0, Web Service, Socketand other techniques.Relying on the marine charity research about the seabed real-time and long-termobservation network in the inshore and adjacent waters, by verification this papershows that the design solution of the information processing software for seafloorobserving node is reasonable and feasible and it is a better method to deal with oceanobservation data and solve the efficient allocation and efficient sharing of databetween ocean observing system. Meanwhile, there is good extensibility in thesoftware. It can flexibly implement the configuration of new observing node orinstrument without modifying the existing software architecture and reduce the cost ofmaintenance. It provides a platform technical support for the development of oceaninformation processing software oriented ocean information integration, data servicesand business management.
