The paper is proposed for a research project of tracking receiving system whichplays the key role of antenna-servo-feed subsystem in radar signal detection&processing system.Firstly, the paper states the functionality of tracking receiver, its classification,theories of tracking receiver in various signal modes and its main specification. Itspecially details the basic theory of monopulse tracking receiver, technical means torealize the single channel switching, modulation of receiver angle error. By analyzingand comparing with these kinds of common tracking receiver, it raises the designnecessity of this subject.Secondly, according to the feature of receiving signal and requirements ofantenna-servo-feed sub-system in wide band radar signal detection system, the paperindicates the main specifications of monopulse single channel auto-tracking receiver,equipment composition and system theory configuration diagram, theory of systemoperation and key technologies need to be solved: the optimum design of wide bandchannel SNR, the design of signal large-dynamic range receiving and auto-gaincontrolling, the design of wide band radar signal and tracking angle error signaldetection of other composite modulation mode non-cooperative signal. Finally, thedesign and execute solution are provided accordingly.Thirdly, the project actual requirements are most concerned in this paper. Itindicates the equipment execute solution of antenna-servo-feed sub-system in wideband radar signal detection system. The system RF and single channel synthetizing unit,frequency converting unit, IF signal processing unit are proposed and speciallydescribed for system configuration. Finally, the design result of system mainspecification is given as well.As a research subject strongly tied to the project, the methods of inspection andactual testing data are provided. Additionally, the record of system joint test,satellite-tracking and final acceptance test when operating in test range are also attachedin this paper to verify the research result.
