With the improvement of people’s living standard today, people more and moreattention to their health. At present, the world’s heart disease morbidity and mortalityhas been high, is the preferred one of the diseases that threaten the health of hu-man. The ECG can objectively reflect the physiological condition of the various partsof the heart. Therefore, the study and process of ECG has an important value and sig-nificance. Over the years, though the research of ECG obtained some significant re-sults, but due to the complexity of ECG signal, there are still some problems worth tobe further study and solve.In today’s information technology research, the theory of wavelet analysis hasbeen applied in many fields of natural sciences, including signal processing technol-ogy research. The wavelet analysis theory because of the characteristic of the goodtime-frequency analysis, the signal can be multi-scale decomposition, and the char-acteristics of the signal on wavelet decomposition of the scale. The research contentof this article is mainly about how to apply the wavelet analysis theory in ECG signalprocess, de-noising algorithm of ECG signal has made a thorough research and dis-cussion, and the detection of ECG waveform of research, and gives experi-mental analysis. Paper main content is as follows:(1) According to the characteristics of ECG signal and contains three kinds ofnoise characteristics are described in detail, gives the noise causes, introduces thewavelet analysis theory knowledge, gives the relative traditional Fourier transform towavelet transform itself in the superiority of signal time-frequency analysis.(2) On the theory of wavelet de-noising principle has carried on the deep discus-sion and established a general model for signal with noise, and analyzesthe wavelet characteristics of ECG signal and noise under the wavelet transform.(3) This paper introduces wavelet to several common methods of noise, waveletmodulus maxima de-noising method, wavelet coefficient scale correlation de-noisingmethod, and the wavelet threshold de-noising method. The de-noising methods ofseveral key factors are discussed and research, including the selection of wavelet ba-sis function, the determination of the layer number of wavelet decomposition, thewavelet threshold functions and threshold selection(4) According to the principle of wavelet transform in signal mutation, this papermainly focuses on the wavelet modulus maxima method signature waveform of ECG signal detection, Including R wave and QRS wave of ECG signal starting and end-ing point detection. Experiments are performed by several groups ofMIT-BIH data, verify the effectiveness of the detection method.
