Based on TMS320F2812, this paper investigates millimeter wave detector signal detecting and processing system's design and realization.According to concrete targets of 3 millimiter active/passive combined detector. It has carried out the signal processing system software and hardware analysis with emphasis, and has completed the design of overall scheme and parameter analysis including key technology in system memory design, AD design, DA design, external interface of system design, system power and so on. It also puts forward improved scheme for hardware.We have researched the simulation and study of target recognition algorithm of millimeter wave detector, have analyzed the relation between millimeter active/passive echo signal and targets, and exploring condition background environment, and algorithm framework of object identifier of millimeter wave is given. According to the requirement of signal processing in system, this paper completes the whole system's software design. The software function modules including active ranging, passive target identification, digital filter, port capturing, function generator, and sampling time tick.For users' better requirement in operation speed, some specific requirement and points for attention are related to writing FLASH of TMS320F2812, which provides help. At the same time, program loading process that is after TMS320F2812 getting power, is given.We coplete the signal processing system softeware and hardware association to try the association accent, realize continuous ranging and target recognition in millimeter wave detector rang requirment, and reach to the system's demands. Test results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
