The Design And Development Of Real-time Traffic Information System Based On VoiceXML

The increase of the mass of the vehicle leads to serious traffic jams, for drivers,informed each road traffic is essential. Browse through mobile phones and othermobile terminals, allows the rider to learn about the real time information, butbecause the screen size restrictions, such as mobile phone text browsing is not veryconvenient. In order to make drivers more convenient and faster to query to the needof real-time traffic, via voice query is more convenient and quick. To make full use ofexisting web page text resources, the use of VoiceXML markup language, can makethe text directly into voice information, improve the user experience and availability.VoiceXML is based on XML language specification, a markup language application invoice navigation. Use VoiceXML, can set up voice applications and services based onWEB.Therefore, this topic research based on the VoiceXML application in real-timetraffic, the system will use VoiceXML markup language, the original only through thebrowser can access Internet content and services, is transformed into the telephonevoice service.Live traffic query system designed to take mobile phone dialing and Internetinteraction design: mobile phone dialing into the center of system, voice services,different services have corresponding VoiceXML document to deal with.VoiceXMLdocument corresponding to the road conditions of real-time status information data isobtained by grasping analysis related to Internet resources and deposited in thedatabase, the VoiceXML server and a web server for the connection oftransformation.The entire implementation platform including network equipmentspeech recognition ASR system and two sub-systems: TTS speech synthesis system,respectively responsible for dealing with network connection, phone call processing,DTMF (dual-tone multifrequency)input, speech recognition and speech synthesis, etc.VoiceXML for voice applications shows a broad future,(CallCenter) in the centerof the voice gateway, voice calls, voice, voice information service is widely used insuch fields as electronic commerce. By integrating web resoure grasped from internetwith VoiceXML document, we can easily extended from the original of all kinds ofapplication, only need to write a few VoiceXML pages can achieve new businessprocesses;Prepare good VoiceXML script can be added to the system at any time and place, and will not affect the normal operation of the system.Based on the real-timetraffic VoiceXML query can refer to any existing online real-time traffic networkquery system.This paper implements a prototype system based on the VoiceXML technology.Test results show that the user experience to achieve the expected goals, strongpracticability.
