With the rapid development of Internet, the users or web information users (such as the government department or commercial organizations) are eager to get a way to search out the valuable real-time traffic information from the large web information rapidly with a high efficiency according to their needs. However, because the result describes in natural language, so it often has the characters of vagueness and ambiguity, a large number of traffic information the natural language describes is limited by the natural language understanding technology.Here we mainly research the two technologies:real-time search and semantic understanding. The real-time search mainly uses the web crawler technology, and grasps the real-time information from the web site. In semantic understanding, first we need build a word segmentation dictionary, and segment the real-time information that getting from the searching by maximum matching method according to the dictionary. And then we establish a rule database to match the phrases and sentences. Finally we verify them through experiment. Thus get some achievements:1. We research a real-time search method in the internet web pages which contains dynamic traffic information. We design the orientated crawler frame based on web pages that contain the dynamic traffic information that it mainly comes from three parts:official websites, BBS and blogs. We adopt different strategy to grasp the traffic information, save to the database, and provide data base for natural language understanding.2. Proposing a solution to understand real-time traffic information represented in Chinese natural-language. Aim at the characteristic of traffic information and the application demand of semantic understanding, adopt improved maximum matching algorithm and analyze qualitative and fuzzy traffic information to form a reference template for location methods, which is used as semantic rules to understand segmented words in order to form a solution to syncopate and parse traffic information. Accordingly, the problem that Chinese nature language cannot be directly understood and used by computer system is resolved.3. The search and semantic understand method of the real-time traffic information experiment respectively. Contrary to the different sources of traffic information, demonstrate the correctness and validity of the presented method in this study.We research the search and semantic understand of the traffic information deeply, demonstrate the correctness and validity of the presented method through experiment, the problem that Chinese nature language cannot be directly understood and used by computer system is resolved, it has application value, provide data support for the dynamic navigation and location service.
