Fresh water resources shortage gradually influences the survival and economic development of human beings, people has begun to get it from the sea. With the advantages of low energy consumption and high desalination rate, reverse osmosis desalination technology is widely applied in various domestic and international seawater desalination project. Due to the problems of multi units, signle monitoring management status and reverse osmosis process without closely control in in seawater desalination project, the system can not share resources and has low level of automation.According to these problems of reverse osmosis desalination project of the daily output of one hundred thousand tons in the Liuheng island of Zhoushan, the reverse osmosis desalination monitoring and control system is designed. The system combines advanced computer technology, predictive control technology, optimization of scheduling technology, fault diagnosis technology in one, to realize the integration of montioring and management of the reverse osmosis desalination, and the effective control of reverse osmosis process. Here is the main research work content:(1) Expounding the topic background and significance, analyzing and comparing of the reverse osmosis desalination technology and the development present situation of industrial monitoring technology, introducing the current development situation of the application of predictive control technology and summarizing the research content of this article.(2) Introducing the basic principle of reverse osmosis desalination and its technological process, pointing out the shortcomings of the single unit monitoring, putting forward the design scheme and the software design framework of integrated monitoring system and designing the communication structure based on B/S communication model, OPC communications, WCF distributed communication system(3) To efficiently control the reverse osmosis process, using multivariable constrained predictive control based on the quadratic programming problem, and compared with traditional PI controller, analyzing the advantage of predictive control algorithm in the process of reverse osmosis.(4) Based on the design principles of software engineering, the idea of object-oriented and UML use column analysis, by use of multi-threading technology, thread pool model, OPC communication technology and C#language, desgining and developing the local monitoring software under the.NET platform; by use of Ajax technology, WCF remote data transmission technology and JavaScript scripting language, designing and developing remote monitoring system software of the web page; Using SQL SERVER2005as the data storage of backstage supporter’s database.(5) In order to ensure the safe operation of the system, in view of the reverse osmosis desalination system for unit testing, integration testing and system testing.(6) Finally, the contents are summarized, the shortcomings and the futural development of the system are discussed.The system running results show that the system can offer real-time monitoring and effective management for the field units of the reverse osmosis desalination, quickly and effectively control the output of the reverse osmosis process flow and the electrical conductivity.
