The Research Of Structured Management About Networklibrary Resources

With the development of Internet and e-commerce, more and more people like accessto library resources through the network means. Network library resources are in greatabundance and variety, generally, they can meet the needs of readers. But, it is a problemfor every reader to save time and to find the books one need quickly in such a huge amountof books. Different network library resource owners like management books according totheir own characteristics, use different systems and different Classification. This has causedchaos in the network library resources. This paper studies the structured managementproblems of network library resources mainly from three directions. As follows:classification, metadata, ontology.In the direction of classification, first study analyzed the book classification system of10well-known online bookstores, point out their existing shortcomings and problem. Onthis basis, construct a primary category information system of book classification for onlinebookstores, use variable precision rough set model, and give a basic framework for theonline book classification which is popular and compliance with the use of onlinebookstores. Finally make a comparative analysis to prove that this framework is suitablefor network book classification. Now most book classifications are done by people, whichnot only cost a lot of manpower, but are also not accurate enough. So, this paper uses KNNalgorithm and N-gram technology to achieve the automatic classification of books. At last,it extracts some data as samples from various online bookstores to carry on theexperimental analysis.In the direction of metadata, first analyze the existing book metadata formats, such asMARC and Dublin Core. Then accord the basic information of books which offered byOnline bookstores, put forward a metadata description framework for network library,which based on RDF and Dublin Core metadata. Finally make a description for books withthis framework.In the direction of ontology, under the classification system and metadata descriptionframework, use Protégé and OWL, complete the job of construct Domain ontology aboutNetwork library resources.Classification system provides the basic framework for the problem of structuredmanagement of network library resources; Metadata provides a description method of the network library resources; Ontology provides a structured representation method ofnetwork library resources. Finally, on the basis of the above research, gives a system modelfor the structured management of network library resources, lays a theoretical foundation toachieve structured management of network library resources.
