Piezoelectric actuator is a novel actuator using new material and adopting new principle. As aimportant part of piezoelectric actuator system, it is necessary to research the driver of piezoelectricactuator for its wide application.Firstly, the paper presents two kinds of drive schemes of MFC bionic fishtail, namely, the fullbridge pulse drive method based on two DC power supply and the drive method based on linearamplification. Theoretical analysis and simulation verify the feasibility of the schemes. The relevantexperiments are built for the two drive schemes. The relationship between MFC bionic fishtaildeformation and voltage is researched deeply.Secondly, to realize high voltage bias drive system of MFC, the article gives a low voltage DCpower supply and a high voltage DC power supply. The low voltage DC power supply adopts thepush-pull topology and gets500V DC through rectifier filter circuit. The high DC power supply basedon the former DC power supply is designed and can achieve1000V DC by quadruplicate voltagerectifier circuit. In addition, a novel multi-channel adjustable DC supply using single-inputsingle-output transformer based on spectral separation is proposed. A hybrid signal containingmultiple frequency bands is boosted to obtain a high-voltage signal without bands change. Severalfrequency selection circuits are then used to separate individual signals in different frequency bandfrom the high-voltage signal. Finally, these signals are rectified and filtered respectively to obtainmultiple channel DCs.Furthermore, according to the working principle and characteristic of near-field floating gyro, thedrive proposal is proposed. The paper gives a theoretical model of near-field acoustic floating gyro.Based on the theoretical model, the matching circuit is designed. A platform for experiments is built.The result proves that the system is steady and reliable.Finally, PSoC3and its development environment are briefly introduced. The detailed circuit of thesmallest system is designed. The drive signals of the MFC bionic fishtail drive system and the novelmulti-channel adjustable DC supply are designed individually. In addition, TMS320F2812DSP andits smallest system circuit are briefly presented. And a part of drive signal program of the near-fieldfloating gyro is given.
