The concept and characters of DF/HF-CO2transfer chemical laser aresummarized in this thesis, which also contains the dynamical process analysis ofDF/HF-CO2transfer chemical laser theory and the calculation of CO2molecular’stransition spectrum. The DF-CO2transfer chemical laser is observed on theN2-CO2transfer laser platform, and the HF-CO2transfer chemical laser isobserved on the dual-band laser platform based on the N2-CO2transfer laser. Thecharacters of these two lasers are studied. When CO2is injected before D2both ofthe lasers can reach the highest output power, and when4mm diaphragm is usedTEM00laser beam can be got on both. The highest output power is2.3W byDF-CO2transfer chemical laser, the cavity preasure of which is2.0kPa and theaxis of which is about9mm downward the D2injection orifiles. While the highestoutput power is2.88W by HF-CO2transfer chemical laser, the cavity preasure ofwhich is1.6kPa and the axis of which is10-12mm downward the H2injectionorifiles. As is esperimentally demonstrated, reducing the cavity preasure andamplifing the bore diameter of CO2injection orifiles can benefit the conduction ofDF-CO2transfer chemical laser. This thesis also measured and analysed thespectrums of DF/HF-CO2transfer chemical laser.The dual-band laser is observed by conbined the DF chemical laser moduleand DF-CO2transfer chemical laser module on the dual-band laser platform basedon N2-CO2transfer laser. The axis of the laser is3mm downward the D2injectionorifiles of the DF chemical laser module and9mm downward the D2injectionorifiles of the DF-CO2transfer chemical laser module. The output power is5Wcontaining two bands either of which is2-3W. TEM00laser beam can be got when4mm diaphragm is used. This thesis also measured and briefly analysed thespectrums of the dual-band laser. The1P(J) obsorbtion of DF chemical laser bycold DF molecular is observed.The following conclusion can be got by comparative analyzing the two linds ofdual-band lasers based on DF-CO2transfer chemical laser and on N2-CO2transferlaser: Working on the dual-band laser platform based on N2-CO2transfer laser,the dual-band laser based on N2-CO2transfer laser is surperior to that based onDF-CO2transfer chemical laser on some aspects such as power, cost, technologyetc. The possibility of purly chemical conduction and using the same F generatorwith DF module is the advancements of DF-CO2transfer chemical laser.
