Since we have entered the era of big data today, the army’s informationconstruction is particularly important, because the control of intelligence by the twowarring sides will directly affect the tendency of the war. Therefore, the construction ofinformation system and information interconnection within the army is essential, andthe construction of data link system is a very important part in the construction ofinformation system.This thesis designs and implements a set of data link application system for thecommand post so as to pave the way for transmitting the information directly from thecommander to the individual soldier. This dissertation is based on the research projectcompleted by both my work unit and a scientific research unit, which is designed tomeet the needs of a certain department of the Headquarters of the General Staff of theChinese People’s Liberation Army. This system, aiming to meet the need of theintegrative joint operations, was developed in order to speed up the formation ofcommand capability relying on the data link operational generation and meet the needsof the rapid data exchanges among the multi platforms in the dynamic battlefield.Centered on the above issues, this thesis has obtained the following achievements:①Carrying out the needs analysis of the data link application system for thecommand post. After exploring the settings of the data link application, this researchfinalized the design target for the data link application system of the command post andimproved the cooperative combat capability among the multi nodes in the internalinformation network. Secondly, it refines the core functions of the data link applicationsystem, including the information function, network monitoring and network control.Finally, it quantized the performance requirements for the data link application system,for example, the relative velocity of the network nodes should be less than100m/s, thepitch angle within the initial node search range should be no more than60degrees andthe maximum distance between nodes should be100kilometers.②Accomplishing the overall design of the data link application system for thecommand posts. It involves the design of system structure, Process design data link,.The design of system function module, The design of system structure determines theimplementation scheme of the software and hardware. Process design data link todetermine the data link of the whole communication process. The design of the system function determines the functions of data links, including location and recognition andtarget surveillance. Module design consists of five modules, including informationmodule, data processing module, network monitoring module, network control moduleand data link information replay module.③Implementing a set of data link application system for the command post. Theimplementation of the application system design includes mainly the implementation ofthe system process, interface, main function modules and the research presents theeffects of the operation on the server-side and terminal. Finally, the system is tested, testresults show that, the system has the reliability, stability, and real-time characteristics.The data link application system for the command posts has been applied to the trainingin our unit and has made a significant effect.Since this thesis is closely related to the military scientific research, the relativemilitary secrets are decrypted and only the pure technology is presented.
