As a typical example of the embedded computer technology, radar is now beingapplied widely in all walks of life, of which military radar has played a significant role inthe construction of national defense. The diverse and different requirements in practical usehave promoted radar theory and technology, which inevitably leads to a higher demand forthe bandwidth, throughput and scalable architecture of the embedded computer. With the increase of processor’s function and working speed, and the emergence ofmulti-processor architecture,it is critical for embedded computer to achieve the high-speedcommunication of inter-system and inter-chip.Thus how to improve inter-processor’s busbandwidth has become an important topic of current research. This paper begins withanalyzing modern radar system’s need for interconnected systems and data transmissionmethods, investigates their current state and trends, and analysis each interconnectedsystems and high-speed data transfer protocols which are beging widely used inpractice. Then it makes a reference for the selection of interconnected system and datatransmission methods in each specific situation and tries to realize a set of radar system forengineering application by combining software, hardware and field programmabletechnology together. The performance and reliability of the system has been tested in thelab, the result of the experiment shows that the system can operate fast, efficiently and stably.
