| With the rapid development of computer network, Internet, network storage and streamingmedia technology, and as part of the demands from the construntions of smart city, smartcommunity, bank and some other projects, video monitoring has becoming an important part inhuman life. Traditional analog video monitoring system is unable to meet the network, digital,diversity, distributed requirements, such as real-time video data transmission, relatively distributedvideo monitoring points, and how to improve the of network resources utilization efficiency by theuse of streaming media technology. Therefore, it is an imminent task to design and realize a digitalvideo monitoring network with diversity.Following the development of video monitoring in home and abroad, this thesis pointed outsome shortcomings and deficiencies of traditional video monitoring system. Guided by therequirements of a new video monitoring system and based on streaming media technology, thisthesis introduces a new remote video monitoring solution. This thesis mainly includes thefollowings:Firstly, the thesis gives a brief introduction to the related knowledge of video monitoring,elaborates the development and research progress in home and abroad, and propose a new solution.Secondly, this thesis elaborates streaming media technology and streaming media server,analyzes streaming media transmission protocol and wowza streaming server in-depth, carries outsecondary development on the basis of the Wowza streaming media server, achieves amulti-streaming protocol support which lay a solid and reliable foundation for the research andimplementation of the new solution.Thirdly, since streaming media has a really high performance requirement for storage spaceand disk I/O, this thesis introduces and compares some commonly used storage solutions: Thefront-end equipment storage; NVR server storage; the embedded server storage; iSCSI direct writestorage, and choose iSCSI direct-write storage as our network storage solution.Finally, according to the system demand, this thesis defines the server and client functions,makes a detailed design for network video monitoring system, and realizes designed function ofserver and client based on software, builds the entire network video monitoring system eventually. Practical application shows that this design of remote video monitoring platform can providea stable video service and achieves the good application effect and has a good popularization value. |
