Smoke Detection Based On Surveillance Video And The Streaming Media Service

With the development of image processing, smart monitoring technology is greatlyapplied in every filed. And smoke detection system acquire highly focus by people.Compared with traditional smoke transducer, monitoring smoke detection system hasa larger inspect area, faster response, especially in wild field. Mobile monitoringwould be extremely popular in the future under the speedy development of internet.Currently, most of the equipment is installed with Android, and this system would bemore convenient for people to do real time monitoring when connecting internet.The aim of this paper is to do research on the algorithm of smoke detection basedon video monitoring, and the streaming service. Generally, there are three parts, whichis smoke monitoring algorithm, streaming server, and its Android software. Smokedetect algorithm includes thin smoke and smoke detection. This paper analyzed howto detect thin smoke under the comparation of before and after smoke emitted infrequency mage and grey image. Besides, it also analyzes the extension and continuityof smoke to detect heavy smoke. This paper also analyzed the detection error causedby moving characters and illumilation. Finally, this paper illustrated the realizationprocess combining with the code of smoke detection arithmetic.In addition, this paper introduce the way to set up a streaming server on Linuxsystem, which provide user to check detect result timely. The server would do H264coding data, streaming, and data transmission base on detect resultFinally, this article elaborates how to design and Implement monitor client inAndroid system. By transplanting third-party FFmpeg program to realize videoreceiving and decoding, the display function is realized under JAVA layer.Experimental results show that this smoke detection system could detect either thinsmoke or heavy smoke effectively. And the user could check real time result understreaming server.
