Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the main diseases that threaten people’s lifeand health in the world today. Electrocardiogram (ECG) has become the most widelyused clinical cardiovascular disease diagnostics with its simple, rapid, noninvasive andaccurate advantages. In recent years, with the rapid development of modern signalprocessing theory and technology and artificial intelligence, rapid ECG analysis ofarrhythmia has become a hot topic in the field of medical research. The accurate real-time ECG automatic analysis technology plays a key role in arrhythmia monitoring,and also has important application value in improving the life quality of patients withcardiovascular diseases.In order to solve the problem of QRS complex detection and arrhythmia analysis inthe real-time ECG monitoring system, this paper presents a ECG analysis algorithmbased on smart-phone. Firstly, utilize Pan-Tompkins algorithm and Hamilton rules todetect QRS complex wave, and distinguish sinus rhythm (SR) and prematureventricular contractions (PVCs). Then use Lempel-Ziv (LZ) complexity algorithmbased on coarse graining process to analyze the high-risk arrhythmia. At the same timecomparatively analyze the effect of different coarse graining processes on the analysisof cardiac arrhythmia. By testing of100sinus rhythm segments,120ventriculartachycardia segments and60ventricular fibrillation segments from the MIT/BIHdatabase, the results show that the proposed algorithm is able to overcome the impactof all kinds of noise on ECG signals, and detect QRS complex wave accurately. Inaddition, LZ complexity measure based on K-Mean coarse graining process caneffectively separate ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation, and is one kindof practical methods for arrhythmia analysis. What’s more, design a ECG monitoringsystem which is based on Android smart-phone and test. The results show that thissystem can collect ECG signal, display ECG waveform in real time, do ECG dataanalysis and show the diagnosis on the screen.
