Cardiovascular diseases are number one chronic diseases which threat to human life;personalized heart monitoring certainly becomes the most directive and effective method inthe cardiovascular disease monitoring and prevention.Apatient needs real-time monitoring,because a cardiovascular disease may attack in anytime and anyplace; Motivated by littleresearch in the field and the rapid advancement in wireless communication and smarttechnologies, many researchers pay attention on the personalize heart monitoring systemusing smart phone.This paper focus on improving the personalize heart monitoring system and mainlydescribes the optimized detection algorithm of monitoring system and shows the functionaland database design of the monitoring system. Finally, it introduces the programmers of theentire monitoring system. The content is on the following.Firstly, this paper compares variety of R-wave detection algorithms on the real-time,detection speed and accuracy.According to the experiential result, the differential thresholdmethod is selected, and then the R-wave detection algorithm in this paper is improvedbased on the existing differential threshold method. Then the algorithm is programmed inJava and tested on the Eclipse platform, the result shows that the algorithm has a goodoverall performance:90%sensitivity,90%accuracy, shorter operation time and highrobustness.Secondly, the paper summaries the common arrhythmic symptoms and the time tonediagnosis criteria and studies the arrhythmic symptoms based on RR interval, such as, sinustachycardia, sinus bradycardia, sinus arrhythmia, sinus leak stroke, sinus cardiac arrest,2conduction block, premature ventricular contraction, ventricular bigeminy, ventricular tripleand R-on-T phenomenon. Discriminated classification tree method is simple and has a highaccurate, so it is utilized as the arrhythmia detection method in this paper.Thirdly, this paper compares the performance and application of exiting smart phones,and then the Android smart phone is ultimately chosen as the development platform.According to the research requirement, the monitor system is user-friendly designed, andthe corresponding software functions are as follows: ECG data’s real-time processed andanalyzed, waveform’s real-time display, information prompt and emergency alarm, et al.Then the system is developed in the Eclipse platform, and is testing on the Androidemulator, it gains a better running effect.
