Nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy material is a significant progress in the field of soft magnetic materials after amorphous alloy material. This material can be regarded as the current best soft magnetic alloy material. The high-performance magnetic properties of nanocrystalline alloy material is the basis that it can be used as a sensitive material in the research of the new type of sensor.Magnetoelastic effect is an inherent characteristics of ferromagnetic materials. Compared with the traditional magnetoelastic materials and amorphous alloy, Fe-based nanocrystalline alloy has higher electromechanical conversion efficiency, and is more suitable as a magnetic material.Therefore, using Fe-based nanocrystalline alloy to research new type magnetic pressure load sensor can not only improve the performance of magnetic pressure sensor but also further expand its application scope.Firstly, this paper theoretically discusses the magnetoelastic effect principle of Fe-based nanocrystalline alloy, analyzed the auxiliary magnetic survey method of using Fe-based nanocrystalline alloy thin tape. On this basis, a new three pole load sensor structure based on magnetoelastic effect of nanocrystalline alloy is put forward in this paper. To further prove the validity of the sensor elastomer model, a static structural analysis is taken for verifying the linear relation between the middle beam form variables and the loading force by the finite element analysis software called ANSYS Workbench.What’s more, the magnetic circuit is analyzed to deduce the output equation of the sensor in an ideal world.Secondly, according to the characteristics of the sensor, a measurement circuit is designed based on the exchange of inductance bridge. In order to make the data acquisition real-time and accurate, a cDAQ data acquisition system based on Lab VIEW development environment platform which provided by NI company is adopted.Finally, a static loading test is done on the designed sensor. Through comparing several groups of contrast experiments, the static output characteristics of sensor under the optimal working condition is obtained. Test results proved that the sensor’s maximum nonlinear error,the maximum repeatability error, the maximum sensitivity and the maximum comprehensive error are1.168%,2.340%,0.0529mV/Kg and3.767%, respectively.In conclusion, the sensor designed in this paper is feasible and has a good prospect of engineering application.
