With the rapid development of digital TV technology,digital TV copyright protection isbecoming more and more important.Digital video watermark technology is an effective meanof video copyright protection.Because most video watermarking algorithm embed thewatermark into specific video frames,In order to make the digital TV copyright protection anddigital video watermark technology effectively combined,This subject designed andimplemented a video frames classification extraction scheme from mpeg-2TS,provides apractical basis for the application of digital video watermark algorithm on digital TVcopyright protection.This paper made a brief introduction of digital TV broadcast system and MPEG-2firstly,then analyzed the data structure of Mpeg-2TS and the relation between PAT,PMT andPES in detail. This subject designed a video frames classification extraction scheme frommpeg-2TS based on FPGA technology, this scheme mainly includes TS synchronizationmodule, PID detection module, PAT analysis module, PMT analysis module and video framesclassification extracted module. This design has the following functions:The extraction ofprogram number in TS;Output the TS packets contain of the I-frame,B-frame and P-framerespectively.This subject designed and implemented the scheme with Verilog HDL in theQuartus II. The comparation between simulation results with the analysis results of TSanalysis software TransportStreamAnalyser shows that:The scheme of this subject canextracts program number in TS correctlyThis paper also presented a hardware structre to realize the scheme.The functions weredescribed,and the chip selection,interface were designed.In the last their circuit dagram weredraw.
