Government Control Countermeasures On The Microblog Public Opinion

As a new communication platform, the self-media features of microblog have promotedthe dissemination of public opinion shifted from official discourse to ordinary citizens. In thepast, the government’s main way of trying to intervene and control the on-line public opinionwas to “block”. But, the contradictions unexpectedly turned to himself and damaged his ownimage. Meanwhile, the netizen holds an attitude of resistance when gonernment relies on themicroblog of his own and the network commentators to get involved in the public opinion.In this paper, the writer will reveal the law and the characteristics of how themicroblog public opinion generated based on the analysis of the microblog public opinion,the microblog public opinion leaders and some related concepts. And I will make theexposition and analysis on the current status of controling the microblog public opinions atthe same time. In the end I will make some suggestions and countermeasures to this situation.In the first chapter, I will introduce the research background, the practical significanceand the research status in China and abroad of this topic and come up with the research paths,the research methods and the innovation points of this topic on the inadequacies of the currentstudy further. The second chapter combs and analyzes the core concepts of the control ofmicroblog public opinions, such as: What is microblog public opinion, what is microblogpublic opinions leaders and so on. The third chapter analyzes and interpretes the currentstatus of the controling of microblog public opinions and problems lies in it. The fourth partgives specific countermeasures and suggestions that we can regulate and control themicroblog public opinions by public opinions leaders based on the previous studies.This paper follows the thinking path “clarify the current situation-find the problem-solve the problem”, to make efforts to further understand the propagation characteristics ofthe microblog public opinions and trying to inject new ideas to the traditional control ofpublic opinions research as well as to provide new means of thinking and the new referenceof creating a stable and harmonious society environment for public opinions.
