As the coming of the Big Data Time, clustering technology has emerged for satisfyingpeople’s requirement for information processing capacity. Cluster is a kind of computingsystem which is interconnected through LAN, relying custom software for collaborative work.With high cost performance and good scalability, cluster system has replaced the traditionalmainframes and super computers. Cluster system has been widely used in many industrialfields such as: text information retrieval, speech analysis and image analysis. With theincreasingly widespread use of cluster systems people intend to increase cluster system’snode number to improve the computing power of cluster system. After expanding the size ofthe cluster, attention to the function of monitoring cluster is being paid. Providing interface toshow task’s information and cluster system running state is becoming more and moreimportant.The dedicated computing system this paper referred is a parallel computing softwaresystem focused on large-scale cluster. Computing system fulfilled system-wide fault tolerance,usability, probability and scalability. This subject is to design and implement a friendly userinterface for the dedicated computing system. The user interface is to shield the complexity ofthe computing system for the used who do not know computing system very well.The UI of dedicated computing system is Windows desktop based application. The mainfunction of UI is to create tasks and show results, demonstrate the running state of thededicated computing system. XML based task files are designed for the interaction betweencomputing system and user interface.
