Research Of Design On PLC Training System

Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation is a major to develop theoreticalmachinery, manufacturing technology, automated manufacturing systems andadvanced manufacturing mode. For the undergraduate students to have a solidtheoretical foundation and practical ability, they need to understand and master thetypical structure of machine and electrical controlling method. on the basis of thegeneral knowledge, they should also gradually accumulate the capabilities of design,and eventually become a practical talents to the society.This paper focuses on the visualization of the working process of the machinecircuit, relay contactor control circuit design, practical training method and thetraining aspect of PLC machine controlling circuit (including debugging, installingand the design of PLC ladder diagram). For automatic control, motor drive, electroniccontrol of machine tools and the programmable logic controllers and other courses inuniversity provide teaching and practice of training device.The main stages of the research are:(1)Designing the animation of the circuit. Demonstrating the working principleof the machine’s controlling circuit. Showing the whole controlling process withevery detail of the circuit’s response caused by corresponding movement. Improvingthe efficiency of the learning by making the learning process more interesting.(2)Expanding the type of machine circuit of Universal Training Device,completing the installation and debugging through a reasonable choice of electroniccomponents. The paper elaborates the design of controlling circuits, installation anddebugging process of the typical machine such as grinders, lathes, drilling.(3)The type of Omron CQM1H PLC is used to design the controlling circuit of atypical machine, and the control is completed by ladder diagram programming.A lot of practical works are completed during the research of the thesis, and itbasically completes the design, installation and the debugging of the machine’scontrolling circuits that is applied in training aspect. And it provides a good learning and training platform for the professional training in the major of mechanic andelectric.
