With the rapid development of Smart-Home technology, it gradually gets intothe families of ordinary users and more and more people participate in the designingof their own homes. But the users and suppliers still use text and floor plan toexchange information with low efficiency. Simultaneously, the existed3D designsoftware can’t meet the requirements of users on performance or usability whichleads to mismatching issues and mistakes. So an online3D home design and displaysystem is needed.This thesis mainly aims at the researching of3D home design and display system,designed and implemented3D design module and real-time display module. Thissystem not only provides the online home design and display platform, but alsotakes advantages of hardware acceleration, model optimization and codeoptimization to improve the efficiency. The module of3D design is mainlyresponsible for the management of models, scene and data. It uses the WebGLtechnology to realize the display and interaction of3D models, and uses theobserver mode to transmit event messages among different function modules. Thereal-time modules uses message pushing platform to pass order from mobileapplication to display scene. Meanwhile, this system provides interface for thecontroller and configure platform to control the real scene.At present, I have implemented the main functions of the system, andsuccessfully worked in the test environment. The system has met the requirements,which is a well practice of using online3D technology in the Smart-Home area.
