The car makers are at a fierce environment because of supply chain globalization,customer customization and the increasingly intense competition. At present, the wholeprocess of automobile production task involves a large number of production task orderform, BOM form, quality inspection form and warehouse form et al. On the one hand,the above data information tasks in different information system at various stages of theperforming for production task, and information island phenomenon is serious. On theother hand, the collection and processing for the above data information is not standard,not timely and incomplete, which produce the fact that the managers cannot getsupporting of production schedule information, production quality information andproduction material information et al. This paper constructed some research andexploration on real-time monitoring system for the automobile production task, which isreferenced by the existing research results and combined with the basic principle andthought of the manufacturing execution system.First of all, a whole process information model(WPIM) of automobile productiontask was put forward base on the analysis of the automobile production taskcharacteristics, which includes operation, quality inspection, mistake proofing, humanresources, equipment and materials et al.Secondly, on the basis of present situation and the real-time monitoring of theautomobile production task management demands, this paper constructed a real-timemonitoring system for the automobile production task based on whole processinformation model. In addition, the architecture and operation modes of the system wereset up.Then, some key techniques of this system including the ontology based approachof semantic information integration and the dynamically and visualization monitoringfor the implementation of automobile production tasks based on component technologywere studied.Finally, the author participated in the design and development of a set of real-timemonitoring system for the automobile production task, this system was applied in anautomobile produce workshop, and good application results were obtained.
