As the increasing scale of automobile production all over the world, the cycle ofautomobile module renovation is developing, and it becomes common that several automobilemodule using the same production line. More and more managers begin to pay attention tothese information including the process state and position of one kind car during the car bodyproduction, the production state and position of all the components which match the car, andthe success of installation of the components. Two elements affect the product ability of thefactory during car production. One is the complicity of car production environment andprocess. The other is the trace and control of the2big buffer area during car production. Thekey technology of car information collection, following and control of the2big buffer areaduring car production is discussed in this paper. This paper firstly tells the background and theresearching title. It also narrates the current situation of Track and Control system for carproduction domestic and overseas, especially the information collection and controltechnology. Then the research theme and realization method are discussed.The information collection process of application link and application function duringcar production is discussed using content analysis method on the base of telling the basic carproduction process. After taking further investigation of the current situation of automobileproduction line information management, the information collection method during carproduction is proposed in this paper. And the detailed track and control function in therelevant step of car production line buffer area is also proposed. Then using RFID as thecarrier for automobile information storage is discussed. The configuration software namedCimplicity gets all the information on Critical Measure Point by OPC. The movable signalinformation of automobile is also collected by OPC. The Cimlicity extracts the collectedinformation and analysis the movable signal information for achieving real-time track andcontrol function. The real demand should be considered sufficiently while achieving thecontrol function. It should be convenient to configure all the control rule and the rank of therule. Then users can use the system expediently. The technology above is studied andoptimized for reducing the loss of production material and paint cost during car production.
