Combination of learning with working (WIL) is the requirement of educationpolicy under national macro-level and also the inevitable trend of higher professionaleducation. Students work while studying and study while working. Both combineorganically, which is accordance with the natural law of learning. Chongqing College ofElectronic Engineering creates and actively carries out a new closely linked teachingmode in electronic information sciences combined with learning and working.Internship becomes an important link of work-integrated mode, while traditionalinternship management becomes more and inadaptable and difficult.Under this background, practice management system in accordance with thecharacteristics of college itself is urgently needed. The development and application ofthis system aims at changing the current situation of practice management, strengthening the control on the whole process of internship and effectively solving thecommunication between students, teachers, schools and enterprises. It also intends to setup mechanism of dynamic information feedback and process evaluation, provideconvenience for data sharing, statistics and analysis and speed up the construction ofnetwork and informationization. In addition, it aims at improving the standardization, scientificity and efficiency of practice management, promoting WIL and educationalreform and improving the comprehensive quality of higher vocational colleges andstudents. This article follows the object-oriented development method, designing anddeveloping practice management system with ASP.NET technology, SQL Server2008database and analysis and design description tools of UML. Through research of allkinds of relevant users, we analyze10major roles and7function modules coveringsystem management, educational administration management, visit practice, experiencepractice, skill practice, employment practice and query statistics and all kinds ofbusiness process of practice management. This article designs the system with three-tierarchitecture so that the structure of the system is clearer and labor division is morespecialized. Dependence between tiers is reduced and development efficiency isimproved, which provides convenience for future extension and maintenance.Role-based access control technology is used to strengthen the security of the system.Coding achieves main functions of the system. User interface is unified, beautiful, simple to operate and easy to use.
