Border Anti Erode Struggle Public Opinion Warfare To The India China Border East As An Example

In the modern world, peace and development are the major themes of the presentera. Friendly international exchanges between China and India are not only significantto promoting mutual peace and stability, but also to the common prosperity of bothsides. Nevertheless, British colonialism led to a territorial dispute in the east of theIndia-China border and the south of Tibet, which is estimated to be nine million squarekilometers. This problem has been remained a barrier to bilateral relations, which is apotential threat to regional peace and security. The maintenance of friendly relationwith India is a vital basement for Asia-Pacific peace. Since1962when the war ofcounterattack in self-defense against India happened, India continues its efforts ofexpansive strategy around China-India line of actual control in the border areas,encroaching China to adding the jetton on future formal boundary negotiation and itthis action that has caused serious impacts on regional security. This dissertation focuson the traits of eastern India-China border, exploring the proper ways of organizing、equipping、training and practicing on public opinion warfare of anti-encroaching toavoid military adventures by India for more immoral interest, which will bringnegative effects on regional stability.The historical background、source and current situation of territorial disputes in theeast of the India-China border and the south of Tibet are discussed in the first place,introducing the history and legal basis of China’s anti-encroaching. Then, the authortry to analyze and sort out some related theories about public opinion warfare、international views on struggles against encroaching, and refer to theories of crisismanagement and a clash of civilization. Problems and challenges are pointed out byanalyzing the present situations of global opinions toward territorial disputes in the eastof the India-China border and China’s preparation. Furthermore, this dissertationproposes some suggestions and specific measures which can afford Chinese army somelessons on how to carry out a effective public opinion warfare through acquiring theexperience of foreign troops. The last but not the least, constructive suggestionsabout guiding principles、organizations、equipments and trainings of public opinionwar on anti-encroaching are thrown out, and some original thoughts about methods andpractices of public opinion warfare are presented in this paper.
