Both sequence sets and complementary sequence sets with zero correlation zone(ZCZ) are widely used in many fields such as coding theory, code-division multiple access(CDMA) system, radar etc. Different from ZCZ sequence sets, ZCZ complementarysequence sets which have large number of sequences, more efficient spectrum and lowerbit error rate performance consist of many sequences’ groups can be used to accomplishsignal transmission. In addition, outstanding anti-interference performance is inherentproperty of complementary sequence. Therefore, the construction of ZCZ complementarysequence sets is extremely significant.First of all, based on complete complementary codes and interleaving,connectingtechnique, a construction of aperiodic ZCZ complementary sequence is proposed byutilizing aperiodic sequences of almost ideal correlation property. Applying above thoughtin the construction of complementary sequence sets, using aperiodic ZCZ sequence sets,and then a kind of aperiodic ZCZ complementary sequence sets is presented. By selectingdifferent parameters of complete complementary codes and aperiodic ZCZ sequence sets,the proposed method can achieve various kinds of complementary sequence sets withdifferent sequence length and ZCZ length, which offers a variety of choices for practicalapplications.Secondly, based on ternary odd-periodic complementary sequence and sequence sets,three kinds of odd-periodic ZCZ complementary sequence sets are presented by using8-QAM+constellation transforming relationship and interleaving, shifting technique. Oddperfect ternary sequences sampling could obtain ternary odd-periodic complementarysequence sets. Changing different parameters of shift sequences will construct differentkinds of complementary sequence sets.Thirdly, based on ternary odd-periodic complementary array sets, a novelconstruction of odd-periodic ZCZ complementary array set is obtained by using8-QAM+constellation transforming relationship and shift sequences. Odd perfect ternary sequencessampling and folding could obtain ternary odd-periodic complementary array sets. Variousarray sets could be constructed by different ways, such as column-shifting, row-shifting and designing different shift sequences.
