At present, for industrial application of monitoring system, the bottleneck problemsare lack of low cost, distributed extensible data collection system, lack of high-capacity,two-way communication, and also real-time access network’s support. This paper studiescurrent situation in view of the existing industrial bus technology, proposed monitoringsystem of wireless heterogeneous network based on device layer and the informationlayer,and realized the data integration and reorganization between the wireless networkand the wired network through the design of multi-mode wireless data concentrator.This paper designs the overall structure of heterogeneous network monitoring system,described and select the communication protocol and data concentrator hardware design ofthe monitoring system,where the design focuses on the heterogeneous network protocolconversion program. In terms of hardware. this paper selection STM32as the mainprocessor section of data concentrator.and realized wireless ZigBee network andCAN-bus network into into the Modbus TCP/IP Industrial Ethernet. Terms of software.this paper proposed the address conversion table between the different protocols toestablish the conversion of address in data communication with a heterogeneous network.Specifically designed for ZigBee network application layer using Modbus/RTU protocol,established address conversion table between wireless terminal node network address andModbus station number; established address translation table between the CAN messageID and Modbus station number in the CAN-bus network. After data frame completed theaddress conversion and data packaged, transferring data to the remote control terminal ViaModbus TCP/IP. realize protocol conversion between ZigBee agreement with ModbusTCP/IP, CAN protocol and Modbus TCP/IP.Finally the article test every communication protocol in this system, The resultsshowed that, This design of multi-mode wireless data concentrator Can realize theConversion between field data collection and multi-protocol data frame.
