Internet technology has brought third information technology revolution, through theubiquitous communication realization of objects and the connection, and has huge applicationprospect, environmental monitoring of the Internet of things is a more mature and realisticsignificance to application. Based on wireless sensor network (Wireless Sensor Network, WSN)campus environment monitoring training system is a practical campus as the background ofenvironmental monitoring training system based on WSN, offers various environmentalparameters perception experiment environment for students, designed a series of practical trainingprojects, can fully meet the research of wireless sensor networks in different direction experimentalteaching requirements, the teaching practice has significant meaning.This paper through the investigation analysis to identify the campus environment monitoringsystem the basic components, namely the need to monitor the campus inner temperature andhumidity, illumination and fire and other content, proposed the campus environment monitoringsystem and monitoring sensor node, the gateway module, control center and other parts of thewhole structure. Further work has analyzed the network training need to cultivate students abilitymainly includes the master and be familiar with MSP430microcontroller, infrared communication,SimpliciTI networking, point-to-point wireless data transmission, a light sensor, temperature sensor,humidity sensor, gas sensor, light sensor and the corresponding serial or wireless communication,to improve the students the operation and application ability.Campus environmental monitoring is a more mature and realistic significance to application.In a simulated environment on campus monitoring process, training system includes a sensornetwork of each session, to enable students to be familiar with Internet and its application. Basedon wireless sensor network technology research and analysis, select the SimpliciTI protocol as thetraining system of network protocol, is the use of its low power consumption, low cost, flexiblenetwork construction and convenient advantages and characteristics, and select the TI CC2500chip networking development. In the embedded chip technology on the choice of Samsung’s S3C2440A development gateway selection module, MSP430F5418chip development sensormodule, and used the C language development tools to achieve.In this paper, the design, development based on WSN campus environmental monitoringtraining system, simulates the interconnection of each link, provide interconnection of multipletraining environment, provide students with a light, temperature and humidity, fire and other sensorcommunication, as well as SCM, infrared communication, SimpliciTI network training andexperiment, system has the advantages of simplicity, convenient, intuitive and so on in theclassroom, through the trial, basic to achieve the design goal, school can meet the demand ofnetworking teaching and training, through testing, good results.
