RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)technology use the non-contact way toidentify the target item and obtain its data information automatically in all kinds ofharsh environment, without manul intervention. Recently, it has been widely usedin many fields. It is one of the IOT(Internet Of Things)’s base core technology.RFID technology will produce mass, real-time RFID data information, thesedata may contain redundant data,dirty data and so on. How to process these massdata for getting useful,meaningful information and helping the enterprise to makethe right decision is a key point in research. RFID CEP is a technology, which canextract valuable information from huge RFID data and provide better services forenterprises.In this thesis, several classic complex events processing methods areresearched. On the base of Researching RFID data, RFID events are divided intotwo categories: RFID simple event and RFID complex event. Realized thedifference between simple event and complex event, different methods are taken toprocess these events. For RFID simple event, a modeling and detection method baseon extended RETE algorithm is put forword and four basic events of modeling anddetection are defined; for RFID complex event, a modeling and detection methodbase on extended Petri-Net is proposed and five events operators are defined.At present, most complex event processing technology is designed bycentralized structure, which will call for high calculate ability and huge storagecapacity of host computer, and it is not suitable for future development. So in thisthesis, a RFID complex event processing method base on distributed environment isresearched. The distributed RFID CEP system contains many clients and one host.The host module’s main function is to get the user’s input complex eventsexpressions and divide it into several child expressions then save them into eventsqueue in server. The client module is divided into five module, it get childexpressions from events queue, and use the above algorithm to process complexevents.
