Internet of Things(IOT), as a new-generation network technology, has been widely respected from all walks of life and is being gradually used in intelligent transportation, logistics and transport, and some other fields. But, at present, IOT is used in few applications. One of the reasons for this is the magnanimity, heterogeneity and semantic uncertainty of the perceived information in the front-ends which cause that the users can not accurately extract and abstract meaningful data and dig out the implied intrinsic relationship among data and quickly find the required data. All the matters greatly hindered the information collaboration, interaction and sharing among complex IOT systems. Therefore, how to deal with raw sensory data and extract the abstract semantic information in the node level have been the key problems to solve for realizing the efficient query and processing to IOT data.In this paper, we use the advantages of semantic technology in information description, presentation and processing and deeply excavate the implied incidence relation of IOT data to reduce the amount of data sent and received in the process of IOT data processing and improve the efficiency of IOT data processing. The main contents are as follows:(1) On the basis of studying the existing IOT data processing technology, we analyze the existing problems in IOT data processing and propose a system architecture model of IOT complex event processing(CEP) technology based on semantic which attaches great importance on the studies about key technologies involved basic event layer and semantic events layer. At the same time, we build an IOT-oriented and distributed complex event processing system architecture.(2) There were always events with out-of-order timestamps in the Internet of Things(IOT) application systems. To deal with the problem, a semantic event definition about IOT was presented and the issue of out-of-order timestamps was also described. Meanwhile, according to the mixed driving space reclaim mechanism, an out-of-order revise framework of complex events based on Hash structure was established. What’s more, a Complex Event Detection Algorithm Based on Out-of-order Revise Framework(ORFCED) was proposed. To solve the issue of out-of-order timestamps, the algorithm extracted two characteristic parameters of events to compute the Hash address and stored them to Circular Linked List in the timestamp order to sort events locally.(3) Concerning the problems including repetitive query, storage and processing in the processing of complex event processing in IOT, an event sharing mechanism(ESM) was proposed, and a semantic event definition about IOT and semantic descriptions of event operators were presented as well. We also create a semantics formal query-plan processing model based on ESM(SFQPM), which could process query expressions and predicates automatically, and could fulfill the automation of complex event detection and processing.(4) Last but not the least, we take the intelligent transportation application scenarios for example, in which the massive and heterogeneous data, simple semantic, data delay and concentrated queries lead to the burden of transportation comprehensive management heavy, the staff’s workload big, and the system processing efficiency low and some other deep-seated problems. To solve these problems, we design a semantic event model based on intelligent transportation and expound how to test and handle the flow of events using the ORFCED and the SFQPM. Research results have verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithms.
