With the ever-accelerating development of mobile communication, 3G has been more and more involved in our lives. Subsequently, the problem has to do with the co-existence of multi-operators and multi-systems . The mainstream technologies are TD-SDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000, respectively. As to the current condition of interference between systems led by intensive spectrum allocation, this study has investigated on the co-existence and interference problems between domestic standarized 3G TD-SCDMA system and intertionalized WCDMA system. In the first section of this work, the specialty, network configuration and operating spectrum are introduced, altogether with the characteristics of TD- SCDMA system and WCDMA system, A further analysis has been conducted on the reasons and types of the interference between the two systems. The investigation on the co-existence and interference between WCDMA and TD-SCDMA systems are in two directions: interference between base stations and interference between terminals. The interference between TD- SCDMA base station and WCDMA base station have been analyzed through certainty-claculation. According to the performance index and send-receive characteristic of base station, analysis and calculation on noise jamming, intermodulation interference and barrage jamming between base stations have been done, thus to generate isolation degree needed for station antenna; as to the interference related to terminals, for the sake of uncertainty, system static simulation is adopted. This simulation employs MATLAB as a platform, using the Monte Carlo simulation concept to elaborate the process precisely, which includes the design of simulation process, constuction of systematic model, smart antenna gain, system capacity, SNR, algorithm of power control and the simulation design of interference between systems. Finally, mutual interference simulation results are obtained as to the correlations between system capacity and ACIR change. Conclusion of this research could serve as guidance for the protection of intersystem interference.
