Trolley-type annealing furnace is an important heat treatment equipment adopted widely by domestic mechanical processing and mechanical manufacturing factory. This paper takes an innovation project of NO.115 trolley type annealing furnace in a turbine factory as background. The control system of the annealing furnace contains several electric automation control systems: trolley, furnace gate, blower, seal and release. A control system for the automation measurement of gas pressure, combustion air pressure,furnace box temperature and hearth pressure is also included. Nozzle burning automation control system is also a indispensable part of the whole system.This paper conducts deep research on production process and control system of annealing furnace. Based on the characteristics and process flow of annealing furnace, a process monitor and control system for trolley type annealing furnace is developed, which combines both software and hardware. The system is made of three layers: field execution layer, intermediate control layer and system management and monitoring layer. The field execution layer is responsible for control of the instrument and execution equipment in the field and data collection; intermediate control layer, which is PLC control station, mainly completes basic logic control functions and implementation of special control algorithm; system management monitoring layer mainly consists of IPC with iFIX configuration software. The layer communicates with PLC through MPI protocol to get the production process information and display the process flow and alarm in real time to realize remote monitor.In the industrial production process of anneal furnace, the furnace temperature control is characterized by nonlinear and large delay, which bring difficulties to the analysis and designs of furnace temperature control system. This paper adopts rational approximation to approximate the pure delay link, and combining the Royce Criterion Criteria, the PID value domain keeping system stable is represented. The rational approximation method adopted in this paper is verified by simulation results.The design of the system adoptes impulse combustion control technology instead of the traditional continuous combustion control method. This technology adjusts the pulse width to control the combustion time to realize the temperature control of the furnace. This method has improved the properties of system, such as good dynamic performance, small fluctuation and fuel saving.
