The researches about information behavior have become one of the hot issues whichraises researchers a great concern in library and information science. Along with the changesof the age, technology constantly updated, the behaviors of the user are appearingdiversification and complicated trend. This drives analysis of information to be further andmultiple perspectives research. The researches of information behavior abroad began muchearlier and formed many classical theory. And the researches in our country are still in theearly stages of development, there will be a wide development space in theory and practice.Through the review of its history and the analysis of its current state,it will not only help theresearchers understand deeply,but also can provide reference for our improvement of thefurther studies.The major method is comparative analysis approach and the part uses citation analysismethod using the software named Citespace to process the data. There are seven chapters inthis article. The first part, introduction, it mainly discussed the source, significance,innovation and research methods of this article. The second part to the sixth part is the core ofthis paper; it compared the researches of information behavior abroad with our country fromhistory of evolution, researchers, contents and methodology. And the history of evolutionincluded three the stages of development at China and abroad, researcher included the mainbody of it, core authors, the contents included the research field, research hot spot andknowledge basement, the methodology included research paradigm and specific methods. Thesixth part, there were some advises on researches of information behavior in our county. Theseventh chapter, conclusion, It has summarized the shortcomings of this study and addressedthe research prospects.
