In recent years, with China’s comprehensive national strength and the continuousimprovement of the ceaseless progress of science and technology, the Internet has becomeincreasingly popular in china. While the network group event is accompanied by thepopularity of the Internet and emerge as the times require a new kind of public events, theyare far-reaching, affecting a wide range, the chain reactions are bigwhich make it more andmore become the focus of attention, and on building modern harmonious society producedextremely far-reaching effect.Through the research of a number of popular network group events in recent years, wedescribe it in five parts. The first part is mainly about the research background, purpose andsignificance of the research; In the second part, we take an analysis of the “Butterfly Effect”in the network group events: with the combination of the United States of Americameteorologist Lorenz proposed the “Butterfly Effect” theory, we describe the phenomenon ofthe “Butterfly Effect” in the network group events, the communication mode, and finally do asummary to its reason; In the third part, we give a further in-depth analysis of the" ButterflyEffect" phenomena which arising from the positive and negative effects; In the fourth part, weputs forward some prevention mechanism and strategy through the government, the mediaand the netizen; The last part of the article is a summary.This paper selects such cases like " AIDS girl" incident," Fan Paopao" incident," bullysolid horse " incident as the analysis objects, has analyzed the causes, manifestations, andimpact on the negative effects and the prevention strategies of the “Butterfly Effect” in thenetwork group events.
