The Alternative Current frequency conversion technology can achievethe purpose of ac motor speed control by the change of ac motor powerfrequency, which is considered as a kind of ideal method for the ac motorspeed control. At the same time, the fieldbus technology is playing more andmore important role in control system. Considering the fact that the FieldbusDigital Control System is so strong in the practical use, in this paper, the acmotor speed control technology is used in the fieldbus digital control system.The DeviceNet is a simple, cheap and efficient protocol, which is idealfor industrial control bottom. Therefore the DeviceNet can be better appliedto the ac motor speed control system. In this paper, fieldbus digital controlsystem for the ac motor speed control is researched.In this paper, the traditional control method based on slip frequency isintroduced firstly, and then the improvement measures are put forward, inwhich,the positive feedback loop is canceled,and the stability of the system isstrengthened. While the fast tracking performance of the improved method isnot so good, the vector control algorithm is researched in this paper, and thenew method for the estimation of the parameter of rotor flux linkage is putforword, which can help us get the orientation angle for the rotor flux linkageaccurately. So in this way,the main technical obstacles for the vector controlalgorithm are resolved. Through the comparison of the two algorithmsimulation results,it is found that the vector control algorithm is moreexcellent in the control effect, so the vector control algorithm is used as thecontrol method in this paper.The real fieldbus control system for the ac motor speed control is set up by using rockwell experimental platform.The experimental results show thatboth the static and the dynamic performance of the fieldbus control systemcan meet the requirements well.It is a good trial that the ac motor speed control technology is used in thefieldbus digital control system. And a lot of research are made in themeasures for the improvement of the traditional slip frequency control and theestimation of the parameter of rotor flux linkage. And the research result cansatisfy the performance requirements well.
