Information technology has been developed rapidly at the 21thcentury. The informationtransfer and communication become more and more between man and man which lead to therequirements of the places which is applied of personal identity authentication have beenincreased. In order to avoid being falsified, options of authentication contents and storageidentification technology are very important.This thesis is Application of PDF417 code technology in identification system. Thisfingerprint identification system adopts PDF 417 code technology to store information,increase the reliability of information storage and select the fingerprint information whichpossesses uniqueness, easy collecting, changing without recourse to the time of the one kindof the biological feature. There by, realizing the identity safety not to be falsified. Then itcan be used widely at some important occasions and high security trades.On the basis of the understanding on the development background about two dimensionalbarcode and the current situation of application through domestic and overseas. It furtherresearches the coding of PDF 417 code technology, selecting appropriate coding mode anderror correction degree, designing algorithm to each coding mode to realize the PDF417encoding of fingerprint image, text and digit. Secondly, doing research on decode of codetechnology and designing algorithm to realize the inverse process of code coding, completingrecovery of the original code content.Process the whole scheme design to the whole system, design solutions to the systemhardware. This application system includes three important parts, the manufacture ofPDF417 code certificates, PDF417 code identification, fingerprint collecting on site,identity authentication. Rely on the code information from the code reader of the system andthe fingerprint from fingerprint sensor which gathers from the card holder on site, these twokinds of information are all sending to DSP processor to take data process. Compare with thefingerprint feature point, judge whether or not the people and the certificate are agreed andconfirm the true and false of the card holder. It adopts TMS320VC5416 to be the keyprocessor member system, OV7120 chip to be code collection chip in order to collect codeimage and MBF200 fingerprint sensor to realize collecting fingerprint on site. It completsstorage module, output interface module, reset and clock module, illumination controlmodule and man-machine interface module, and the design of other peripheral circuit, etc.
