Chinese characters is the treasure of the Chinese national culture, the crystallization of the people’s wisdom and a significant carrier to know China. As a typical representative of "Chinese culture", Chinese characters teaching received extensive attention of the people from all walks of life. Chinese character teaching began in literacy and literacy teaching has drawn great attention of the society,encouraging people to explore and research continuously.As a traditional literacy teaching method, the scientificalness and effectiveness of origin literacy teaching method has been tested by history and witnessed by times. Up to now, it is still playing an irreplaceable role in the literacy teaching. However, the author found, in the investigation and research, because of the limitation of teachers’ own quality, partly due to the lack of teaching resources, the origin literacy teaching method presenting state of polarization and the teaching application with multiple difficulties. The teaching theory is separate from practice. Therefore the origin literacy teaching method is still in a marginalized position in the elementary Chinese literacy teaching without its due utility. This thesis puts forward the application of origin literacy teaching method in elementary Chinese literacy teaching based on the actual elementary Chinese literacy teaching. And do a research on the origin literacy teaching method used in elementary Chinese literacy teaching from three parts and six aspects.The first part: the problems and solutions in origin literacy teaching method’s using. This part focuses on the problems of the application in teaching including differences in teaching application, difficulties in teaching promoting and teaching theory separated from practice. And this part puts forward solutions as follows:standardizing education supervision system, enhancing communication among different schools, improving teachers’ quality in all aspects, expanding teaching materials, taking examples from philology theory works. According to the curriculum standard and based on the theory of "Chinese characters" and Shuo Wen Jie Zi interpretation, we can solve the problems and find a direction for the origin literacy teaching method’s using.The second part: the paths and ways of origin literacy teaching method using in teaching process. On the basis of solutions for origin literacy teaching method in the first part, this part moves on a step to explore practical teaching paths and ways such as using origin literacy teaching method effectively in reading the activity, text literacy, life literacy and network literacy.The third part: the experiment and reflection of origin literacy teaching method.Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth, only applicable to the teaching practice can a teaching method called scientific and effective. Based on the actual design teaching experiment, which tests the utility of origin literacy teaching method in the teaching of primary school, the author study on the origin literacy method. Studies show that origin literacy teaching method can stimulate students’ interest effectively,deepen students’ understanding of Chinese characters, developing students’ thinking,training students’ love for the motherland language.
