With the further development of quality education, it is more and more important for the fundamental physical education how to promote the students’ development. The new curriculum standards of junior middle school physics present that the task of compulsory education need not only impart science and knowledge, but also develop the interest in learning, inquiry ability and innovation consciousness of students. It is more important to make the students to grasp the scientific method through learning some scientific knowledge. The physics is a subject to study the laws of nature and living. However, the thinking pattern of junior school student is on the phase of transition from sense thinking to rational thinking. Therefore, one of the tasks of a teacher is to introduce the phenomena of nature and living into physics teaching. The analogy and transfer is a creative method to learn a new knowledge through comparing with the old experience and knowledge. This method can not only reduce the learning difficulty, but also increase the learning interest. Therefore, using the analogy and transfer in learning the new knowledge can promote understanding the new knowledge. In a words, it is important to put the analogy and transfer into use in the teaching and learning of junior middle school physics, which is accord with students’ and junior middle school physics’ properties.From the discussion above, we can find that it is one of mainly tasks for a physical teacher to put the analogy and transfer into the physics teaching, and train the student to apply the analogy and transfer to learning and living, which is also one of main works in this paper. In this paper, basing on the current situation of junior middle school physics and the properties of student, we will firstly analyze the main questions when applying the analogy and transfer in physics teaching. Then, we design a case-teaching and paper-surveying to discuss the living of analogy and transfer and the concrete practice and application in the same subject and different subject.This paper can be divided into six sections. In Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, we firstly review the research background,and the present situation at home and abroad about analogical transfer, introduce the main theories and development stage and theoretical basis, and point out its meaning in the development of science and in physics learning. In Chapter 3, we investigate the use of analogical transfer in junior physics teaching and the results are analyzed. In Chapter 4, we present the main teaching strategy and principle of analogy and transfer. And we study the analogy and transfer mode in the same and different subject. Importantly, we discuss the application of analogical transfer in physics teaching of junior middle school which demonstrated by the example. In Chapter 5, we give evidence that analogy and transfer have an important role in physics teaching through comparing between students of the experiment class and regular class. In Chapter 6, we give a brief summary for my works in this thesis and present some shortcoming and some work plan in the future.We wish that the main results in this paper can give some help and references to the teachers on the front in the junior middle school physics teaching...
