A new round of curriculum reform stressed that the new teaching method should take change to the traditional learning method, give full play to students’ initiative and enable students to fully develop. The high school biology textbooks have come to pervade the teaching idea, in the end of each chapter. Each chapter review arranged a brief concept map, in this way to help students to sort out and review system knowledge. Now high school students reflect a common confusion in biology learning n,that the biological knowledge is complex and different, and the knowledge system is not obvious, is difficult to memorize and forgotten quickly. Based on the common existence of the students of this confusion,this paper presents the topic, hoping to bring some help to the study of students.This topic firstly combed the related theory of the concept map.Then combined the relevant theories. And connect concept map strategy to teaching practice. The first step, organize the contents that can be taught by the concept map, and draw the corresponding concept map. The second step, used the concept map to carry on the teaching design, and implemented in the new class teaching. In the new class let students use concept mapping strategy in preview. In new curriculum took cooperative way to exchange student concept map, then teacher explained. Student concept maps became continuously perfect and deepen the understandingof knowledge. After class let the students use the concept map strategy to review, and draw a new concept map. In exercise class, let students find out the key concepts in the topic, Construct concept maps, review and consolidate relevant knowledge.In the teaching practice, the Guiyang nine grade 10 and 11 classes were selected as the experimental group and the control group, the practice of teaching content is mainly required two of the genetic and evolutionary "relevant content, and after the end of the class in the teaching practice, students were interviewed before and after the practice,and after the practice use SPSS software to compare and analyze the test results. The results show that the application of concept map strategy" for teaching, students learning achievement has the certain improvement, this new teaching strategies changed the traditional rote learning, enhanced the students’ interest in learning, and promoted students’ meaningful learning.Of course, this paper also has many deficiencies, such as sample was limited in Guiyang 9 which is secondary key high school, failed to make research about good students like Guiyang 1, Experiment 3;Experimental time was only one semester, students using the concept map has not yet reached very skilled. In the teaching practice in the future, we still need to think about how to improve the "concept map" and improve the effectiveness of teaching.
