Biology concept is an important part of biology knowledge, and is the basis of learning biology well. Only after handling basic biology concepts can we establish the biology knowledge structure through applying the connection among them. In the new National Standard for Biology curriculum put forward by the Ministry of Education in2011ten important concepts that should be paid attention to were stressed and this illustrated the importance of concept teaching. In such circumstance, the study of biology concepts teaching strategy can be helpful for teachers’concepts teaching work and for students’adequate acquiring of biology knowledge as well as the development of such abilities as cooperation, practice and innovation. They can solve practical problems using the knowledge they learn, and improve their biology attainments.In this paper, based on the analysis and summaries of the predecessors’research, give an interview and classroom observation, guided by the new curriculum idea, combined "5E Teaching Mode" of the U.S.BSCS teaching material, put forward teaching strategies that are fit for the biology concept teaching situation in our country, there are mainly:(1).Pay attention to the introduction of concepts to arouse students’interest.(2).Establish concepts through independent learning, exploratory learning and cooperation.(3).Give students the opportunities to express their understandings of concepts in order to get a correct concept through summaries.(4).Deepen students’understandings of concepts through transfer training.(5).Wisely use evaluation methods to make students more confident, and improve teaching.
