This project takes the information construction in vocational schools as its background. It’s based on English curriculum reform in vocational schools. According to the present students’ enrollment condition of vocational schools, students have classified English level in their previous schools, which makes it difficult to achieve the language requirement of Sino-foreign Department. So the writer utilizes the frontier theory of film and television courseware to realize the stratified teaching problem and create the appropriate hypothetical English learning environment for students. Therefore, the writer makes the English film and television courseware case to help students of different English levels to accomplish the same teaching aim. Facing another big learning problem which is the learning environment for the EFL students, the writer also utilizes the film and television courseware to establish the suitable circumstance to help students to learn English in a authentic learning environment and achieve their tasks successfully.In this paper, the writer studies the English teaching in Sino-foreign Department of vocational schools. There are five parts in the article. The first part states the background of the project research, the research status at home and abroad, the research content and structure of this article. The second part of the article analyzes and expounds the psychology, learning theory, film and television dissemination theory, stratified teaching theory and environment of learning. The third part comes to the comparative study of the traditional English teaching method, English teaching via information technology and network multimedia courseware teaching design. The fourth part is based on the previous comparative study. It makes great use of the roles of the theory of film and television courseware used in English teaching to settle the stratified teaching and provide appropriate learning environment. The fifth part shows you the design, the evaluation questionnaire and result evaluation of this video courseware. Finally, the writer would summarize and look forward to the development trend in the future.
