With the frequent occurrence of unexpected emergencies lately, individuals are easily influenced by words and behaviors of others. When exposed to a certain stimulus, individual’s emotion may be aroused and infect those neighbors with no emotion tendency quickly. This contagion may lead to the formation of group psychology and irrational behaviors which may result in the secondary hazard. Based on the background above, the dissertation establishes the rules of emotion contagion under unexpected emergencies, explores the dynamic change progress between different emotion valences among the group and studies the impact of different intervention strategies on the change of the amount of individuals with different emotion valence. It is beneficial to grasp the mechanism of emotion contagion and its intervention method to adopt it to practical use to make psychological counseling and guidance.Firstly, based on large amount of previous research achievements, the dissertation introduces the research background, proposes the research goal, purpose and methods.Secondly, the dissertation briefly reviews the related theories used in the article, including the definition, classification and characteristics of emotion and emotion contagion, the basic concept of complex networks and several classic epidemic models.Thirdly, confirming the emotional subjects under emergencies according to the classification of emotion, introducing the process of emotion contagion and proposing the interaction contagion rules under emergencies through discovering the drawbacks of the existing rules of emotion contagion.Fourthly, the dissertation establishes the SOSPa-SPSOa model according to the contagion rules. Mean-field equations are obtained and the emotion contagion process based on complex network are described. The rationality and stability of the SOSPa-SPSOa model are confirmed through comparing the simulation results and also the impacts of other parameters like spontaneous contagion rate, auto-recovery rate and network structure on the change of group emotion are also analyzed. Finally, the dissertation builds the intervention model U-SOSPa-SPSOa, and makes proper suggestions for the individuals and government respectively to cope with the negative emotion caused by unexpected emergencies.
