With the continuous development of the reform of elementary education, it is relatively backward of some traditional teaching ideas and methods of experimental teaching design of chemistry experiment teaching. Under the background of the new curriculum and in order to cultivate students’ ability of experimental exploration and scientific thinking, situational teaching model is adopted to inspire students to actively pursue knowledge and make them think and explore actively by situation creation. Final fulfillment of experiment exploration and the solving of the problem can stimulate students’ interest in learning and cultivate their thinking ability.In this thesis, five teaching cases of high-school chemistry experiment are selected according to the learning situation of internship school. Situations are created during teaching process. And teaching purpose and plan are established according to situation and teaching situation is utilized to arouse students’ learning motivation. Afterwards, teaching plan is implemented. The teaching result is evaluated by use of methods like test scores, learning situation observation and questionnaire survey and so forth. Through comparison and analysis of the experimental and the control class, preliminary exploration is made over some basic strategies that situation creation is carried out in the teaching of high-school chemistry experiment. Main conclusions are made below:1. According to the requirements of curriculum standards and experiment content, five experiments, such as the reaction of sodium and water, major compounds of aluminum and reaction of chlorine and water etc, are selected for situation creation. Exploratory experiments are found to be suitable for situational experiment teaching through different teaching design, implementation and case analysis.2. It is proved by the teaching practice for a term that students’ enthusiasm and initiative to do experiment is significantly enhanced through the creation of experiment situation.3. By use of questionnaire survey and comparison of the results before and after the survey, it is shown that there is some increase of students’ favor of chemical experiment and creation of its situation.4. Based on the data of selected students’ test scores in the final examination, comparison and analysis are carried out by use of methods of the average value and SPSS analysis. It is proved by the result that achievements of students in the experimental class is slightly higher than those in the control class, which shows that the creation of situation helps to enhance students’ achievements to some extent.5. According to the teaching design of the five exploratory experiments, preliminary exploration of the basic model suitable for the creation of its situation is made: Situation creation â†' experiment introduction â†' coordination explorationâ†' conclusion&communication â†' Echo of situation6. Through analysis of specific cases, five strategies for the teaching of creating experiment situation are explored:(1) to create situations of chemistry experiment with pictures and videos;(2) to create situations of chemistry experiment with the news and stories;(3) to create situations of chemical experiment with those of a problem;(4) to create chemical experiment situations through contradiction;(5) to create chemical experiment situations in combination with real life.
