Writing is a complicated mental process, and in essence writing ability is the reflection of thinking ability. Only giving full play to their own thinking, the students can express their thinking activity in words accurately and in detail, so as to accomplish an excellent composition. This thesis mainly studies the image thinking training in the junior middle school composition teaching, hoping to provide the junior middle school students useful help and guidance on composition writing.In view of the current composition teaching problem of “value writing skills and despise thinking training ”, this paper researches on the image thinking training in the junior middle school composition teaching, with the new curriculum standard request that focusing on training students’ ability to observe, associate and imagine in the composition teaching as the logic starting point, and pedagogy, psychology and writing thinking as the theoretical guidance research in the composition teaching. This research integrates the image thinking and the junior middle school Chinese composition teaching, adopting the methods of literature research, case study and interview. This paper focuses on discussing the teaching strategy of image thinking training in the junior middle school Chinese composition classroom, so as to provide new ideas and solutions for the reform of junior middle school teachers’ composition teaching.This thesis is divided into four parts:The Introduction. This part explains the background, objective and significance,content and method, difficult key points and innovation in the research. In addition, by analyzing the documents from aspects of composition teaching and image thinking, the paper tries to know about the relevant situation of image thinking training research in the junior middle school composition teaching.The First Chapter: The basis and indispensability of training image thinking in the junior middle school teaching. Firstly, analyzing the image thinking, with thinking and thinking ability as the point of departure, and the classification of thinking as breakthrough point to define the concept of image thinking, as well as present and analyze detailedly the process, characteristic and the performance of image thinking in composition, which lays a theory foundation for further study on the image thinking training in the junior middle school composition teaching. With the help of writing thought, junior high school language curriculum standards, junior high school language teaching material, junior high school Chinese situation and students’ thought characteristic, it illustrates the basis of this thesis research. In addition, from thepoints that image thinking can help to cultivate students’ innovation ability, aesthetic and Chinese accomplishment, the paper illustrates the necessity of image thinking training in the junior middle school composition teaching.The Second Chapter: the strategy of image thinking training in the junior middle school composition teaching. Cultivating students’ image thinking in the junior middle school composition teaching, whose teaching strategy should not only meet the cognitive level of students’ thinking development, comply with the laws of Chinese subject, and consider the characteristics of junior middle school language teaching material. This chapter combines relevant typical teaching cases from aspects of the association,imagination,emotion,to build a complete junior middle school composition teaching training system,and promote the development of students’ image thinking effectively, so as to achieve the purpose of raising the composition level.The Three Chapter: Problems of the junior high school composition teaching image thinking training should pay attention to. Because of image thinking and abstract thinking are inseparable, combining and completing with each other, we should pay attention to the coordinated development of the image thinking and abstract thinking in the composition teaching practice, also notice the problems such as the use of multimedia assisted instruction.Image thinking training has its own existence value in junior middle school composition teaching. For the teachers and scholars, it is necessary to make in-depth research from multi-aspects. Believing that the related theoretical achievements will be more and more plentiful as the study is unfold. which will provide more useful reference for teachers’ composition teaching.
